how did you decide to become a chinese medicine practitioner?
I had just come back from Edinburgh, after deciding that physical therapy school was not for me. I got an acupuncture treatment and something in me just changed. And at that moment, I decided I was going to school for East Asian medicine. East Asian medicine can heal at all levels - physical, emotional and spiritual. As I have evolved as a human, Mother and practitioner, I am always in awe and in gratitude on how this medicine works for people.
what is something that you love helping your patients with?
I love helping my patients with recalibrating their nervous system. When their bodies are calm, they see themselves as whole, strong and just badasses.
What inspires your work?
In this season of life, Mothers, Grandmothers inspire my work. It takes a village and I want to be part of that Matriarch village.
what is your self-care ritual?
In this season of life, as a new Mother, my self-care ritual is laying beside my toddler, saying a little mantra every morning and finding peace and gratitude in the everyday routine of Motherhood.
