how did you decide to become a chinese medicine practitioner?

My personal experience with acupuncture was awe-inspiring. The disappearance of a persistent, ten-year cyst and overcoming infertility with acupuncture treatments made me want to pursue a career change and help people in similar situations.

What do you love about integrating East Asian medicine with your fertility patients undergoing fertility treatments?

I love helping patients with stress and anxiety around fertility/pregnancy challenges.  I want to provide an environment where they can truly experience reduction of worries and stress and focus on positive. With East Asian medicine we can diagnose patients' constitution and underlying ailments.  With modern science, we can get information on specific conditions.  We can get the best result when we have access to both.

what inspires your work?

Every one of my patients is unique.  I strive to provide a treatment plan that best fits each patient’s needs and to remain flexible to implement necessary modifications at each stage of a patient’s progress.

what is your self-care ritual?

Sleep hygiene.  Good nutrition. Cardio and strength training. Caring relationships.
